DAY 2 – GADAURI MOUNTAINS TOUR ( Main sightseeing )

Zhinvali Reservoir – The road from Tbilisi to Kazbegi lies on the picturesque gorge of the river Aragiv. The first stop is at
one of the dams of the Zhinvali reservoir. you will admire its turquoise smooth surface and learn about the emergence and the
role of this reservoir.

Ananuri Fortress – Ananuri castle represents a multifunctional architectural complex of the late feudal times in Georgia.
Built on the right bank of the Aragvi River in 16th-17th cc, it was the main seat of the Aragvi Eristavi – Dukes dynasty since the 13th
century.

Black and White River – the most amazing thing is that the flows of the two rivers do not mix up and look like a black-white
stream. A bit lower they meet another river – Pshavi Aragvi of a blue-green color.

Friendship Monument – Gudauri Friendship Monument also known as Gudauri Panorama or Friendship Monument is
located on the Georgian Military Highway connecting to Russia. The government of the Soviet Union built this monument
to celebrate 200 years since the treaty of Georgievs signed in 1783.

DAY 3 – MTSKHETA Ancient Capital Tour

Mtskheta Ancient capital tour – Holy Land – one of the oldest cities of Georgia and its former capital for nearly a
millennium until the 5th century AD. Due to its historical significance and cultural monuments became a UNESCO
World Heritage Site.

Svetitskhoveli Cathedral – Dates back to the early 4th century. A masterpiece of the Early and High Middle Ages,
Svetitskhoveli is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Throughout the centuries, the cathedral served as the burial place for kings.

Samtavro Monastery – Complex Samtavro Transfiguration Church and Nunnery. The first church in this place was
constructed in the 4th century by King Mirian III. Protected by UNESCO.

Jvari & Panorama – The Georgian monastery of the first half of the 7th century. It is located at the mountaintop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers where according to historical sources Saint Nino equal to the apostles erected a cross.
