In a recent development, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has officially revoked its visa ban on travelers from Nigeria. This announcement comes from government officials in Nigeria.

The decision to lift the ban was confirmed after a meeting between UAE’s President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, during his working visit to the UAE.

Following their meeting, President Tinubu issued a statement declaring an ‘immediate end to the visa ban imposed on Nigerian travelers,’ with the expectation that flights between the two countries will soon resume.
